It resembles an axe used to chop logs, hence the name. Its blade is made up of gingerbread with golden frosting on it, which is held together by the thin candy cane handle. It has a silver edge with sharp indents on it. Above the handle is a golden orb, and attached to it is another smaller gingerbread blade with a sharp, silver edge. The handle’s pommel is golden with a holly attached to the bottom of it.
